Yoga is a complete practice benefiting all aspects of emotional, mental and spiritual wellness. By connecting movement to breath, yoga renews, invigorates and heals the body’s maladies – stretching and strengthening the muscles, joints and spine and directing blood and oxygen to the internal organs.
Utilizing breath as our most powerful tool to calm and relax our bodies, our minds become more clear and focused and our emotions stabilize. Using specific postures, we take charge of our well-being, tapping into our body’s wisdom to heal what ails us. Yoga also builds strength, flexibility and balance without the risk of injury common to high-impact sports and fitness activities. Fitness Quest 10 offers 1-1 yoga therapy (Private Sessions are available Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm), corporate yoga (our instructors come to your office) as well as yoga instruction in your home. In addition, Fitness Quest 10 is proud to offer an extensive Yoga Class Program. Our classes will teach you how to access your breath to relax the body & quiet the mind as well as increase your flexibility and balance. Each class opens and completes in meditation and by connecting movement to breath we benefit all aspects of our body, bind, and spirit. We offer a blend of Hatha with Vinyasa Flow at three different levels:
- Tuesday 7:05-8:15pm: Gentle/Restorative Hatha is designed to decompress and release accumulated mental stress and physical stiffness. Poses are gently guided and the use of props is encouraged for comfort and stability.
- Tuesday/Thursday 12:00-1:10pm: Level 1-2 Vinyasa Flow is offered at a moderate to rigorous pace designed for various ability levels. Strength building sequencing of poses based on yoga philosophy and the principles of alignment guide this practice.
- 1st Sunday every month 9:30-11:00am: Master Class is the most comprehensive yoga class we offer. Due to its accelerated pace, prior yoga experience or instructor approval is recommended for participation.
Class Package Update
- Class times have been increased to 70 minutes (Master Class is still 90 minutes)
- 4 Class Package ($72) is now good over the course of 8 weeks
- 8 Class Package ($130) is now good over the course of 12 weeks
- Drop in for a Single Class is $20
