Ryan Rogers is a strength and conditioning specialist from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University and went on to earn a Master's Degree in biomechanics with an emphasis in sports performance from Ball State University. Ryan is currently certified through the NSCA as a strength and conditioning specialist, through USA Weightlifting as a level I club coach, and through EFI Sportsmedicine as a Gravity Instructor.
While at Ball State University, Ryan conducted performance research with the men's and women's volleyball teams, looking at ballistic training to improve explosive power production. This research was the area he focused on for his thesis. He also completed a three-month internship at The Riekes Center for Human Enhancement in the Bay Area, where he worked with athletes from the junior level up to professional level on aspects of speed and agility enhancement, strength and power training, and injury rehabilitation.
Since moving to San Diego in 2001, Ryan has worked at Fitness Quest 10 helping all of his clients achieve a high level of fitness and performance, whether it happens on the athletic field, in the office, or in the home. His workouts combine functional movement in ways that are challenging, exciting, and enjoyable.
He competed in tennis and ice hockey in high school, and has since competed in mountain biking, soccer, and volleyball. He still enjoys playing soccer and volleyball, and going mountain biking, as well as most activities where there is an aspect of competition. |
