B.S. Health & Exercise Science, CSCS
Director of Football Development
Ryan officially joined the Fitness Quest 10 team in January of 2007 after completing an intensive internship in the fall of 2006. He holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health & Exercise Science with a concentration in Health Promotion from Colorado State University; Ryan is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). As the Director of Football Development at Fitness Quest 10, Ryan oversees the strength & conditioning of our football athletes, from the children playing at the Pop Warner level to the Pros. In addition, he coordinates our football related camps and also works diligently at building and sustaining relationships with San Diego area high schools in the effort to assist them in implementing cutting edge, effective and safe strength and conditioning programs both in season and out.
After receiving very few scholarship offers to continue his football career in college, Ryan traveled halfway across the country from his home state of New Jersey to attend CSU, where he was a third-generation student. He did not give up on his hopes of playing college football, and after walking-on to the program during his freshman year, Ryan went on to enjoy a successful 4 year career as an Offensive Lineman for the Division I Rams.
Ryan enjoys working with and training people from all walks of life and lives to motivate, educate, and inspire people to work hard, persevere, follow their heart and pursue their dreams. He also enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, the ocean, fishing, and basically any other outdoor sport that can contribute to an active, fun, and fulfilling lifestyle.
