Julie is the Business Manager for Fitness Quest 10. A native of Tacoma, Washington, she began her career with a national restaurant chain headquartered in Irvine, California, becoming the Office Coordinator for its Pacific Northwest Region. During her ten year career with the chain, she was assigned to Denver, Indianapolis, and the Midwest Region. Her final promotion sent her to the Irvine corporate office, assuming the position of Point-of-Sale Systems Manager, where she was responsible for coordinating the administrative functions in more than 200 restaurants throughout the United States.
Julie made a career change in 1988, moving from the restaurant business to the retail business. Moving to San Diego, she spent 14 years with Nordstrom, working as a salesperson and sales manager in various women’s fashion departments. She won numerous sales and sales support awards, leading to her selection as the manager of the prestigious Collectors/Couture Department, coordinated personal shopping events, participated in purchasing, organized on and off-site fashion shows, and served as a Nordstrom liaison for charitable events conducted in the greater San Diego community.
Three years ago, Julie became a Fitness Quest 10 client, participating in its various fitness programs. She became a disciplined advocate for the potential health benefits of these programs, which she now combines with her managerial and client service skills with the Fitness Quest 10 team. She continues to participate in personal training, Pilates, Boot Camp, Functional Fitness and running. |
