Fred White
NASM, CPT
Fred is one of Fitness Quest 10’s Sport Performance Coaches and Personal Trainers. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Health Ecology and Communications. Fred is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). As part of the FQ 10 team, he works with athletes of all ages and from all sports. When Fred is not enhancing the skills of the FQ 10 athletes, he is personally training anyone who wants to improve their fitness and be pushed to their individual fitness goal.
While attending the University of Nevada, Fred was a scholarship offensive lineman for the Wolf Pack. His team played in two bowl games and was the 2005 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Champions. Due to a career ending injury his senior year, he finished his last year of college as an intern for the University of Nevada Strength and Conditioning program. As an Intern, he worked with a wide array of athletes. Prior to the University of Nevada, Fred attended Bakersfield College where he discovered his love for Sports Performance Enhancement and Personal Training by working closely with their Football Sports Performance Coach and helping design and run their summer and spring strength and conditioning programs.
Fred started personal training in his last semester of college as a Field Study for one of his classes. This class reinforced that he had chosen a career for which he was passionate, and started his drive to be the best possible Sport Performance Coach and Personal Trainer that he could possibly be. With the completion of college, he has not stopped educating himself and now as he works his passion for training continues to grow.
