Dr. Kahl Goldfarb received his degree in physical therapy from the University of New England in 1997. In 2005, after a four year doctoral program and after passing the national orthopedic practical exam, written exam and doctoral dissertation, Kahl received a post graduate degree from the world-renowned Ola Grimsby Institute. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy in orthopedics, a nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and has attained advanced work as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist. He specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques, biomechanical evaluations, and spinal dysfunctions.

Dr. Goldfarb has been a lecturer for the University of San Diego, Senior Olympics, Sharp Medicine Center, Sharp Reese Steely, Healthy Back Store, and many athletic groups. He has presented on topics such as Back Pain vs. Pelvic Dysfunction, Plyometrics for the Elite Athlete, Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement for the Older Athlete, Differential Diagnosis of the Cervical Spine vs. the Shoulder, Orthopedic Evaluation for Nurse Practitioners and Running Biomechanics for Injury Prevention. Dr. Goldfarb has helped the careers of many professional NFL, PGA, AVP, motor cross, and surfing athletes, and he is also the CEO of Water & Sports Physical Therapy Inc.

Dr. Goldfarb is Personal, kind, and relates to each individual patient. He adjusts to each unique individual patient and treats each with personal care and special attention.  Dr Goldfarb is great with spine patients, patients with radiculopathy, athletes, and diverse with clients of all ages. Great in working with the more complex cases and is able to adjust to patients certain needs and helps them understand the clinical treatment. He is very dedicated to his practice and is continually extending a helping hand to staff members and to the community. He treats his staff members as though they are family and is a role model to his fellow clinicians.

Dr. Kahl is a biomechanics maven.  He truly understands movement and is able to diagnose problems before they become full blown injuries.  Kahl posses extensive knowledge in shoulder injuries and has demonstrated great success in treating professional baseball and volleyball players. 
Kahl possesses a great understanding of orthopedic injuries and is able to clearly convey the issue at hand to his patients.  They in turn appreciate his ability to offer the most comprehensive care available.

Kahl’s recreational activities include Captain of intercollegiate volleyball team and he continues to compete at pro/semi pro beach volleyball level including AVP qualifiers. He competed as a Post collegiate baseball pitcher. He feels that exercise is a very important part of his daily life in order to feel good physically, mentally and continue to be a competitive athlete without injuries to impede on success.
