MA, ATC, ACE
Cara Regas earned her bachelor’s degree is Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology from San Diego State University. At UCSB, Cara was an athletic training student for intercollegiate athletics and has since become a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She worked with all team sports and traveled specifically with Track and Field/ Cross-Country, Women’s Softball, and Women’s Soccer.
During both undergrad and graduate school, Cara coached women’s basketball at both the High School and Junior College levels. She also served as an assistant Cross Country coach at Cuyamaca Community College where she currently is employed as an adjunct instructor. Cara teaches aerobics, life-long fitness, and principles of personal training. She thoroughly enjoys both teaching and coaching and implements those techniques in her personal training at Fitness Quest 10.
Cara recently made the jump to personal training after completing graduate school, and is now certified with ACE. She joined Fitness Quest 10 after realizing her true commitment to motivate, educate, and use exercise as preventative medicine. Cara loves to run, hike, swim, water-ski, play all sports (especially basketball), and travel! In her spare time, she volunteers for the Friends of Scott Foundation, helping children with cancer. |
