Blake Gantney, Marketing Director of Fitness Quest 10, is a southern California native that grew up near Los Angeles. While in high school, he stayed very active in sports by being captain of both his baseball and football team. Graduating high school, Blake moved to San Diego to pursue baseball at San Diego State University, where his career was cut short due to an arm injury. While rehabbing his arm, Blake took the opportunity to get involved with other sports and college programs. Blake instantly fell in love with his business major in Integrated Marketing Communications, as well as the freedom to play other sports outside of baseball. Not wanting to give up all his new found passions, Blake chose to not pursue college baseball any longer, and graduated with Honors and Cum Laude from San Diego State University in May 2008 with his B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communication.
Blake passionately lives life by the philosophy set forth by Aristotle: to not just excel in one or few aspects of life, but to expand one bounds to all horizons, and strive to be as well rounded of an individual as possible. With this guidance, he has come to enjoy a diverse array of activities which include: Surfing, competitive sports, writing songs and music, various scientific based research projects, and fitness. He embraces and thrives off any challenge, and is always looking to partake in an adventure.
